DiBAC4(5)是一種檢測細胞膜電位的親脂性陰離子熒光染料，它本身無熒光，當(dāng)進人細胞與胞漿內(nèi)的蛋白質(zhì)結(jié)合后才發(fā)出熒光。DiBAC4(5)進入細胞，細胞內(nèi)熒光強度增加，即膜電位增加表示細胞去極化；反之，細胞內(nèi)熒光強度降低即膜電位降低表示細胞超極化。
